DB50 Male Connector
DB50 Male - Used for early SCSI applications and older Sun Sparcstations. Pin arrangement: 3 rows, one on top of the other. Top row has 17 pins; middle row has 16 pins, bottom row has 17 pins.
 
DB9 Male Connector
DB9 Male - Used as the serial port connector on IBM AT, PS/2 and compatible computers for connecting modems and other RS-232 serial devices. Serial applications: mouse, modem, null modem, older monochrome, CGA, and EGA monitors. Pin arrangement: 2 rows one on top of the other. Top row has 5 pins, bottom row has 4 pins.
